LADIES PAMPER EVENING
Wednesday, 6th February
Well done to Angie and Cheryl and everyone else who helped the LADIES PAMPER EVENING to become a great success. The Ladies raised £220.00 and this has been donated to the Rugby Club.
HALLOWEEN PARTY
Saturday, 3rd November
Everyone had a spooky, but hideously great night and the event raised £380.00 for the youth fund, plus plenty of money behind the bar, no doubt.
Special thanks go to the two Cheryls (below) and everyone else who made the evening a scary, though very successful evening.
Congratulations to under 11 Coach Lee Webb (pictured below with wife Gail), who won the fancy dress competition. Lee still managed to run the coaching session the following morning despite feeling a little fragile.

SCRUM IN THE PARK
The scrum in the park on Sunday, 2nd September was a great day out for all the family.
After taking the train down to Regents Park, the Stanford boys and girls found lots of fun activities to do, and were coached by many of the top community coaches attached to England and the Premiership clubs. These activities included touch and tag rugby, working on basic skills such as passing, kicking, side-stepping and scrummaging, and lots of bouncy castle type stuff.
They also had the opportunity to mix with England and Premiership players during the day, including the likes of Josh Lewsey, George Chuter and Captain Phil Vickery. The England players were very approachable, and talked to the children and signed autographs all day.
At the end of the afternoon, the crowd of 20,000+ wished the England squad all the best as they went off to prepare for the start of the World Cup next week.
Rugby- recycle collecting as of now see the Cheryls in the under 11's. If you have any rugby wear that your child has grown out of and you would like to donate, please ensure clean and in pairs! Come and have a look before you buy new in club house from 9th September 2007.
The Tour has been arranged for the weekend of 25th-28th April 2008, and we have been invited to the UCKFIELD FESTIVAL in Sussex on the Sunday. The Social Committee have arranged accommodation at Hastings.
The Lord High Sheriff of Stanford le Hope Hanging Judge Jackson will of course be presiding over any alleged indiscretions...
Pink Knickers are the theme of the Tour...
